Meet Our Doctors - Meet Dr. Joseph Hannah
| Dr. Joseph Hannah spent his childhood and teen years growing up in the town of Lyons, Kansas, a small town dedicated to creating a strong sense of community. Today, Dr. Hannah appreciates the personal aspect of getting to know his patients and their families, and he believes that by greeting patients by their first names, he and his staff help to bring that close-knit "small town" feel to their "big city" offices. Dr. Hannah attended UMKC Dental School, but eventually left Kansas for a short period to complete his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville. While at Louisville, Dr. Hannah was selected for demonstrating excellence in academics and interpersonal skills, as well as for his desire to give back to his community. Dr. Hannah strives to treat his patients with respect and generosity. Dr. Hannah enjoys supporting the local schools that his patients attend, and has spent years volunteering for local charities that benefit children. Even after his college years, Dr. Hannah remains an avid fan of the Jayhawks.  Dr. Hannah consider his education an important part of his job as an orthodontist, and remains involved in several professional clubs and organizations. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and past president of both the Kansas State Association of Orthodontists and the Greater Kansas City Society of Orthodontists. His involvement in these organizations allows him to stay current with the latest orthodontic innovations, and continually improve the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment procedures he offers to his patients.Dr. Hannah and his wife, Carolyn, live in Prairie Village with sons Baylor and Noland. He stays busy outside the office as a spectator of their many sporting events and family activities. Staying true to his country roots, Dr. Hannah enjoys raising cattle on his ranch outside of Gardner. Other Memberships and Affiliations |
